Our Christmas donation is going to nph Kinderhilfe Lateinamerika e. V. again this year and will support the construction and expansion of a school in the south of Haiti, which is still suffering from the consequences of the earthquake disaster and also from the consequences of the coronavirus crisis.

For more than ten years, we have been a social partner of nph Kinderhilfe Lateinamerika e. V. and support the organisation with translations on a voluntary basis. This commitment is and remains important, as the second year of the coronavirus crisis continues to pose enormous challenges to countries like Haiti.

With our Christmas donation, we therefore want to contribute once again to ensuring that the aid projects of nph Kinderhilfe Lateinamerika can continue. In 2021, we supported the expansion of a school in the southern part of Haiti (only available in German). It will create space to set up an upper secondary school, offer future students the opportunity to take their end-of-school exams locally and, as a result, prevent the rural exodus. The project is part of the initiative “1000 schools for our world” (only available in German).

Of course, we know that much more of this type of support is needed. But every individual can help with a donation (only available in German) and help to give children a better life away from suffering and poverty. And not only at Christmas time.
