This year, Quanos Connect 2024 once again proved to be an outstanding platform for dialogue and networking in the industry – true to its motto ‘Connections matter’. As a translation service provider and certified Quanos partner for the translation of SCHEMA ST4 content, we were represented with our own stand for the fifth time. We were able to make and maintain numerous valuable contacts and gain exciting insights into the latest developments in Quanos products and technical documentation.

The conference offered a wealth of informative and practical presentations. As expected, the use of artificial intelligence dominated the contributions to the conference. A wide range of possible applications were presented, from technical editing and the creation of metadata to translation. There is great interest in the technology and its benefits have already been demonstrated in many practical reports.

Our stand at the partner trade fair was the perfect place to converse with our existing customers and other trade fair participants and gave us valuable insights into the needs and challenges of the industry. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the motivational conversations and many visits to our stand! Having a direct dialogue inspires us and forms the basis for continually improving our services.

Upcoming legal changes (e.g. the EU Product Liability Directive) are changing many companies’ requirements for translation services and their efficiency and quality requirements. There was a particular focus on efficient workflows, directly connecting SCHEMA ST4 to other systems, and creating and expanding terminology. We can draw on our years of experience in all areas, which you can also read about in our case studies.

A special highlight of Quanos Connect was the evening event at the Max Morlock Stadium. The stadium of 1. FC Nürnberg with its impressive backdrop and the beautiful early summer weather provided a unique setting and offered the opportunity to network and strengthen existing partnerships in a relaxed yet celebratory atmosphere.

Quanos Connect 2024 was a complete success and once again demonstrated the importance of in-person discussions and networking in our industry. We were able to take away many new ideas and are looking forward to incorporating the knowledge we gained into our day-to-day work. As a translation service provider and Quanos partner, it was a pleasure to be part of this event and we are already looking forward to the next Quanos Connect.
